As at May 2026, we have paused adding any new independently published books to the store due to other commitments. Thank you for your understanding.
The Kiwi Kids’ Bookstore welcomes all New Zealand authors and illustrators creating books for 0-15 year olds – including those who choose to self-publish – to submit their books for consideration to stock in our online bookstore.
Please note a couple of requirements:
– At present, we offer a sales channel for print books only. It’s possible we may explore the option of downloadable products like eBooks or audiobooks for future enhancements.
– You must be prepared to provide books on consignment. Our system tracks sales and author payments, and you’ll be paid as your books sell.
– As part of the selection process, you may be asked to provide a sample copy. If your book is accepted, this copy can go into stock. If the book is not accepted, the sample copy will be returned to you.
If you are happy with these requirements and would like to know more about getting your book(s) into the Kiwi Kids’ Bookstore, please contact Kate for the author information document. Email: kate@kiwikidsbookstore.nz
Please note that the response time can vary, depending on other commitments.
