Peter Millett is a children’s author who grew up in Auckland, New Zealand. He has written more than 100 children’s books, published in New Zealand and around the world.
He was inspired to write funny stories after hearing his teacher read Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory aloud to his class. He was also inspired to write funny poems after listening to Pam Ayers reading her hilarious rhymes on the radio.
He loves writing stories that the whole family can enjoy. His number one goal is to help make reading and writing a rewarding and fun-filled pastime for kids worldwide.
His wife, Ruth is a primary school teacher and has helped write many of his stories to make sure that they as exciting and as engaging as they can possibly be for young readers.
