For young readers aged 5 to 8 years.
While Book #1 SandyPants showed how to be a good friend, in RockyBottoms, we learn about the importance of sometimes just doing nothing … and how ‘doing nothing’ can be ‘doing something.’ It also shows how some active relaxers may struggle with the concept and that everyone is different. And we meet a new character: Bubba Lubba, a bold pirate seal who enjoys sunning himself on a rock and singing!
Raymond McGrath has imbued his simple illustrations with bucket-loads of character and humour, while at the same time managing to get a subtle message across.
The Big Little Blue series started with SandyPants! and continues with this book, RockyBottoms. Book #3, DoubleDippers, is due out April 2024.
