Ducks a duck –
and sure of that.
But duck is also…
quite the cat.

Mother Cat has taught Duck to say “meow.” Off he waddles around the farm, meeting other animals who each teach him a new word. When Duck returns, his flock wants lessons—can they copy what Duck has learned? You’ll have to read the story to find out.

This is a simple, very funny read-aloud. It’s complemented by bright primary colours, bold black linework, and big speech bubbles that make the animal sounds pop.

Juliette drew inspiration from a YouTube clip of a real-life furry-feathered friendship, “A Momma Cat and her Yellow, Feathered Kittens.”
