Good Sports

Be inspired by this collection of true stories about 50 remarkable Kiwi sports heroes: people who have set goals, aimed high and achieved their dreams.

A real mixture of well-known and lesser-known stories, this book is about a diverse range of sportspeople (and one horse!) who have achieved against expectations and the odds, and paved the way for others to succeed too.

With sports ranging from tennis to triathlon, bodybuilding to basketball and freediving to football, find out how sportspeople including Portia Woodman, Kane Williamson, Lydia Ko, Dave Letele and Zoi Sadowski-Synott have overcome obstacles and followed their dreams.

Good Sports is full of inspiration and bursting with energy, with exciting athlete portraits by talented New Zealand artists. It’s fascinating reading for New Zealanders of all ages who love sports, and who love good stories.
