The Homer Tunnel has vanished, and with it the last link to life as the Williams family know it. Fiordland has them trapped, leaving their car – and cellphone – useless. Their only hope is to make it by foot to Milford Sound in an attempt to escape the kaleidoscope of history. Separated from their parents, and each other, Zoe and Seth face an uncertain future, and must rely on the past to survive.
