Finalist: Best Illustrated Children’s Book, 2021 PANZ Book Design Awards. Judges’ comments: “A simple, clear, informational design incorporating bold colours that makes for a great educational book for young readers. This book proves that good design can elevate the simplest book into a wonderful, tactile reading experience. Highly detailed photography gets readers up close to the various bugs; it’s great for wonder and discussion.”
