‘Our favourite page is the mermaid page because they have lots of jewels and they look really pretty. The mermaids are nice because they are kind to Tatty. We would like to visit them. And the place where the baboon is it must be near to the mermaid place because it has blue pineapples and lots of jewels.’ – Riley, Emma and Olivia
NZ Booklovers Awards 2021 Children’s Shortlist: ‘This is a fun-filled story of adventure and determination and would be a wonderful read-aloud book which children would love. Vibrant, detailed, colourful illustrations and superbly told in rhyme.’
