Description
A glorious children’s story about accepting everyone for their differences and learning not to judge a book by its cover. For ages 4 to 7
Reviews
Maria Gill on KidsBooksNZ says: A charming story about acceptance, family working together, and community helping each other. It’s also a story about celebrating creativity and sustainability as the family keep themselves busy making and inventing things. The story is rhythmic and rhyming, with a bit of assonance and alliteration, which makes it a great read aloud. The illustrations are whimsical and colourful, most likely created with computer software. It’s a book that will encourage discussion about being kind to newbies and accepting others. Would be a great book to read aloud at the beginning of term one when everyone is getting used to new faces.
