Maureen Sudlow

Christchurch born and bred, but now resident in Whanganui, Maureen Sudlow has lived and travelled extensively throughout New Zealand.

A former member of the New Zealand Society of Authors, Maureen writes mainly poetry and text for children’s picture books.

She has a Diploma in Creative Writing from Whitireia and was short-listed for the 2012 Joy Cowley Award. Maureen was one of four finalists in the 2010 Australian Cricket Poetry Award, and has had some poetry published in ‘A Fine Line’ and various online and print journals.

Her Fearless Fred books, published by Kiwis Soar Publications, are much-loved adventure stories of Fred and his dog Harry.
